FAQ

Your wig purchase should be based off of the measurements you receive after following the guidelines in this photo. We'd personally recommend using a flexible measuring tape to report accuracy for each number. Upon making your purchase for any of the custom units, you are HIGHLY encouraged to add each of the SIX measurements you document; as your wig is made custom to match the numbers you provide us. In the event that you choose to NOT provide us with each of your own personal measurements, you will be shipped a unit that was designed in accordance to the average measurements of the size you select at checkout! Help us help you ensure a satisfactory experience by updating us with the most accurate information possible! 

After purchasing, you are instructed to submit an email to info@shayshaircloset.com to successfully complete your order. The email you submit should look something like this:

After you submit this email, you will be sent an invoice with the complete balance of your order which we expect to be paid in a timely fashion. We urge you to pay off your balance ASAP in order to ensure a quick turnaround time. We want you to get your unit as soon as possible. Units do not begin construction until your invoiced balance is paid in full. The turnaround time for your units construction is started from the day we receive a completely paid request, NOT the day you made your online deposit.

 "Shay, How Many Bundles Will I Need?”

New to the game and don't know how many bundles you'll need? No worries, weave got you covered ;)

12" - 14" looks typically require 2 bundles. You want to have enough hair to satisfy the intended style which with these lengths, is typically a bob. Whether you are using a closure, frontal or allowing your natural leave out to be resent for the look, 2 bundles of these lengths should get the job done.

16" - 20" looks typically require 3 bundles. Once you decide on a style that requires these lengths, typically and depending on your preference, you'll need about 3 bundles. If you like fuller looks, feel free to purchase one additional bundle of the longest length of your order.

22" - 28" looks typically require 4 bundles. 3 bundles will be enough to satisfy your look but we HIGHLY recommend 4 bundles when you make the decision to go with these lengths. Our intentions are not to upsell you, but to make sure that you are sporting our tresses at their maximum potential which will ultimately have you looking your absolute best! Trust us when we tell you what you NEED.

30" and up looks require 4-5 bundles. No exceptions. Anything less than 4 bundles will not only appear thin, but you may not have enough hair to satisfy your intended look and that would be an absolute disaster. We'd truly hate that for you. To avoid this sort of disaster, we highly recommend you purchase 4-5 bundles of these lengths.

A rule of thumb for purchasing extensions is that the longer the hair, the shorter the wefts. This essentially means that the longer you chose to go when it comes to lengths, the amount of hair in the bundle decreases. In order to achieve fuller looks, you have to get more hair.
